PATRICIA O'BRIEN-CAULDER

June 30, 1935-June 4, 2010

Patricia O'Brien-Caulder, 74, of Pleasant Pines Drive, Goldsboro, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held this evening at 7 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Radford officiating. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Born in Seward, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Opal W. Nobbman, and the widow of the late Michael O'Brien.

Mrs. Caulder was a member of Black Jack Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from the purchasing department of Cherry Hospital.

Mrs. Caulder is survived by her husband, Luther Caulder Jr., a son, Edward "Ed" O'Brien and wife, Katrina, of Mount Olive; three daughters, Sheila Warren and John Harrell of Goldsboro, Mary Fricke and husband, Richard, of Goldsboro, and Cindy Dufresne of Raleigh; step-children Kim Caulder and wife, Linda, of Selma, Adam Caulder and wife, Dianne, of Pikeville, and Crystal Spence and husband, Greg, of Goldsboro; a brother, Donald Nobbman and wife, Maxine, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren, Michael and Brittany O'Brien of Mount Olive, Ashley Sullivan and husband, Ben, of Kinston, Haley Warren of Goldsboro, and Christine and Bradley Fricke of Goldsboro; and eight step-grandchildren.

A step-son, Eric Caulder preceded Mrs. Caulder in death.
