JACKSONVILLE -- Kirk Douglas Newkirk, 43, died unexpectedly Sunday.
Funeral will be held at Abundant Life International Baptist Church in Jacksonville Saturday at noon, with Bishop A.G. Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.
He was the son of Ruth Thomas of Jacksonville and Fred Douglas Newkirk of Rose Hill.
He is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the church.
