Millie Christine Shepard Coor, 88, was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Wayne County. With the comfort of her family at her bedside, she departed this life Sunday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jef-ferson Ave. in Goldsboro. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park, U.S. 117 South.
Millie is survived by her three loving children, her son, Milford Coor Jr. of Nongkhai, Thailand, and her daughters Sharon Coor-Barry of Silver Spring, Md., and Ann Coor Northern of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her sisters-in-law, Lee Anna Cox of Goldsboro, Alberta Jackson of Atlantic City, N.J., and Rosa Coor Baker of Goldsboro; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Coor of Richmond, Va.; first cousin, Annie Rutledge of St. Augustine, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Nanika Coor, Damien Coor, Jonathan Coor, Aissatou Barry, Ibrahim Kadir Barry, Allegra Northern, Nicolas Coor and Maria Coor; three great-grandchildren, Dominic, Maria Cecelia and Avery; and many adoring nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro, and at other times they will be at the home, 905 S. Taylor St.
