APEX -- Jean Outland Reed, 74, native of Fremont, died Monday.
Funeral will be tonight at 6 at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive in Wilson, following a time of visiting. Interment will be for, and at the convenience of, the family.
She was born Oct. 26, 1935, to the late Marion Francis and Rena Kirby Outland.
Surviving are her husband of more than 50 years, Morris Reed; daughters, Susan Williams (Don) of Apex, Angela Gouge (Tim) of Apex and Mary Tschopp (Jason) of Fuquay-Varina; sons, Ritchie Reed of the home and Ronnie Reed (Nicole) of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Josh Williams, Mandy Williams, Tyler Gouge, Tyson Gouge, Thomas Reed and Michael Reed; sister, Ruth Aycock of Fremont; and brother, Ellis Outland of Pikeville.
Preceding her in death were sisters, Grace and Velma.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, N.C., 27607, to help others and in gratitude for the wonderful service and comfort provided to Jean.
