KINSTON -- Major (Retired) Roger Montgomery Pickett died Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy Waller Pickett, and two sons.
A thankful remembrance service will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Westminster United Methodist Church, 1001 Westminster Lane, with the Rev. Haywood Smith officiating. Family visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Howell Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
