Willie Ray Becton, 61, of 1308 Robin St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Islamic Prayers will be said today at 1:30 p.m., at Wayne County Islamic Society on Slocumb Street. Burial will follow at Islamic Association of Raleigh Cemetery in Wendell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee Becton Jr. and Minnie Dickerson Becton, and a sister, Glennie Faye Brown.
Cherished memories are held sacred by his wife, Sheila Davis Becton, of the home; son, Michael Lofton of the home; siblings, Robert Lee Becton of Greenville, Nazeeh Abdul-Hakeem, Salih Abdul-Hakeem of Durham, Annie B. Hackley of Sandersville, Ga.; brothers-in-law Donnell (Betty) Davis of Atlanta, Ga., Costello Davis of Goldsboro, Sherman Davis of Seven Springs; sisters-in-law Bessie Johnson, Judy Lofton of Goldsboro; three grandchildren; special nieces Angela (Reginald) Randolph, Antonia Williams; special nephew Kim Brown of Goldsboro.
