Ruth Kenan Trice, 80, 613 W. Walnut St., died Friday at Britthaven of Goldsboro Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at Church of God and True Holiness of Goldsboro Wednesday at 1 p.m., with elder Benjamin Hall officiating. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park, U.S. 117 in Goldsboro.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
An inspirational wake will be held Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill.
Mrs. Trice will lie in state from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., two hours prior to the services at the Church of God and True Holiness of Goldsboro.
