ROSEBORO -- William "W.F." Chavis, 55, 1924 Bass Lake Road, died Saturday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Hope Valley Funeral chapel in Clinton. Burial will be held privately at the family's wishes.
William was born in 1954 to the late William Felton Sr. and Nellie Maynor Chavis.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
The family will receive friends Wednesday after the service.
