Donald Eugene Thompson died Monday at his home.
No formal services will be held.
He was the son of the late Joseph D. and Pauline K. Thompson and husband to Mary L. Thompson.
He is survived by a son.
Arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
