PRINCETON -- Paula Rose Porter, 49, 9286 U.S. 70 east, died Friday evening.
The funeral service will be conducted tonight at 7 at Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The committal service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Princeton Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County May 27, 1960.
She was the daughter of James Roger and Nancy Holt Rose Jr.
Ms. Porter was a 1978 graduate of Princeton High School. She graduated from Wayne Community College with an associate degree in nursing, and was a registered nurse, where she had worked in oncology and dialysis. She was presently employed at Smithfield Manor.
She is survived by a son, Jacob Ryan Porter of the home, and parents, James "Jimmy" Roger and Nancy Holt Rose Jr. of Smithfield.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Rose.
The family will receive friends tonight at 6 and immediately following the funeral service.
