MIKE LANIER

SNOW HILL -- Perry Michael "Mike" Lanier, 45, passed away Saturday.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Allen Stocks officiating. Interment will be at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mike was a 1982 graduate of North Lenoir High School and was the owner/operator of Lanier Tree Service.
Mike was his daughter, Megan's, biggest softball fan and was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed saltwater fishing and motorcycles.
Mike is survived by his wife of 14 years, Paige Killette Lanier; daughter, Megan Lanier; mother, Sue Perry Stock of Walnut Creek; father, Pete Lanier and wife, Debra, of Kinston; brother, Lee Lanier and wife, Lori, of Snow Hill; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Brenda Killette of LaGrange; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Amanda Killette of LaGrange; and nieces and nephews, Leslie, Cole, Cody and Mahala.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Killette, 3932 Frink School Road, in LaGrange.
