RICHMOND, VA. -- James Edward Hicks Sr., 59, 2501 W. Broad St., passed from life unto death Friday morning at his residence.
Eulogistic services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Hicks Cemetery in Bowden.
Precious memories are forever cherished by his children, Veronica Hicks Crumpler of Goldsboro, Linda Nanette Hicks of Ft. Irwin, Calif., and James Edward Hicks Jr. of Jonesville, Va.; a sister, Hazel Estelle Hicks of White Plains, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at other times at 201 W. Lockhaven Drive, Apt. F, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
