DUDLEY -- Jeanne Burroughs Eakes, 41, died Tuesday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Linda Burroughs officiating. Burial will be at Burroughs Family Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County to Dixie B. Burroughs and the late Bobby Burroughs.
Ms. Eakes is survived by four children, Caleb Eakes, Kayla Frank, Candis Frank and Chelsey Chinn and husband, Dustin, all of the home; a brother, Daniel Burroughs; a granddaughter, Natalie Faith Chinn; and special friend, Andrew Harper.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 167, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
