KENLY -- Felton Johnson Jr., 68, died Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Danny Creech officiating. Burial will be in New Jerusalem Church Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa J. Keith and husband, Brian W. Keith, of Goldsboro; sisters, Geraldine Self of Garner, Mary Lee Pearce of Kenly and Elaine Young of Youngsville; grandchildren, Brenna Elizabeth Wells, Payton Reid Wells, Kristina Marie Fritz and Jessica Lynn Manriquez; great-grandchildren, Hannah Wiley, Kaylee Manriquez and Karter Manriquez; niece, Gloria Creech Chesney; nephews, Ronnie Creech, Jimmy Creech, Wayne Creech, Bobby Boykin, Frankie Boykin, Blake Self and Brett Renfrow; six great-nephews; three great-nieces; and a special friend, Dr. Hal Woodall.
He was preceded in death by parents, Felton Sr. and Amanda Narron Johnson; daughter, Jina Janette Johnson; sister, Christine Creech; and nephew, Sammy Pearce.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home.
