Joseph Hursey Davis, 82, passed away at his home.
Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born in Elizabethtown to the late William P. Davis and Lincy Hursey Davis. He was a retired attorney. Mr. Davis was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Texas Law School. He served his country in the United States Army and was a Mason.
Mr. Davis is survived by his brother, Robert Davis of Kernersville.
