In profound sorrow, the president and staff of E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc. announces the passing of Mr. Donald Ray Helms of 217 Green Valley Drive.
Donald Ray Helms was born May 7, 1943 in Monroe, and entered quietly into eternal rest on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Helms was proceeded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Helms.
He leaves to cherish his memories to two sons Allen Helms and Llyod Helms; three daughters, LaDonna Haynes, Sara Helms, and Gina Helms; one brother, Larry Helms; and two sisters, Sherri Helms and Gwynelle Helms.
A service of Remembrance for Mr. Helms will be held privately.
