James Brewington, 50, 3541 Thoroughfare Road, departed this mortal sojourn Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He will be funeralized Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, with bishop Carlton Jackson officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy Battle; his siblings, Dock Brewington of Raleigh, Anthony Brewington, Chester Brewington of the home, William Moore of Goldsboro, Angela Armstrong, Gwend-olyn Spruill of Goldsboro and Betty Mervin of Virginia Beach, Va.
He was preceded in the chambers of death by father, James Hinton, and his siblings, Pearlie Woodard and Lois Lane.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
