LOIS C. FARLESS

Lois Jean Castelloe Farless, 76, 105 Stoney Run Drive, died Monday at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Thrailkill officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Lois was born in Bertie County April 30, 1933, to the late Levy Castelloe and Goldie Hoggard Castelloe. She was married to the late James S. Farless.
Lois was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Lois is survived by her sons, James Michael Farless of Durham, Jeffrey Keith Farless and wife, Kathleen, of Rhode Island and Terry Wayne Farless and wife, Liz Mahon, of Chapel Hill; her brothers, Earl Castelloe, Shelby Castelloe, Levy Castelloe Jr. and Lloyd Castelloe all of Windsor; and her grandchildren, James Doyle Farless, Caitlin Ann Farless and Lauren Xinyu Farless all of Rhode Island.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Road, 3 Fairview Plaza S-408, Charlotte, NC, 28210.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
