Died Sept. 23, 2009
Bettie Jean Suggs, 62, 705 E. Walnut St., went to be with her Lord and Savior Sept. 23 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 N. William St. in Goldsboro, with pastor Daniel Uzzell officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Wood Cemetery in Goldsboro.
She is survived by four children, Michelle (Robert) Gardner, Michael (Vera) Gregory, Manuel (Carrie) Suggs and Ramel Suggs all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Mary Jean Gregory of Goldsboro and Lee Ann (Hamlet) Lofton of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Anthony Lee Gills of Los Angeles, Calif., and Danny Ray (Kathy) Gills of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro.
