Naydene Daniels Hackett, 69, passed away Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
Naydene was born in Garrett, Ky., Sept. 19, 1939, to the late Guy E. Daniels and Mary Hicks Daniels and was married to the late Gene P. Hackett.
Naydene is survived by her sons, Gregory Hackett and wife, Georgann, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Joseph Hackett and wife, Gena, of Goldsboro; her daughter, Beth Hackett of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Mandy Hackett, Geoffrey Hackett, Kyle Hackett, Kelsey Hackett, Travis Hackett, Phillip Bunn, Sarah Hackett and Abigail Hackett; one great-grandchild, Meika Hackett; her sisters, Charlotte Hollbrook, Colotene Conley, Dorlene Whitehead and Kay Poland; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Avery Hackett.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 2705 Langston Drive, Goldsboro.
