Johnnie Porter, 60, 701 S. Taylor, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Darden Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Carlton Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He is survived by seven children.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 2511 Elm St. at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
