Eva Cole Bruner, 78, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cole Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of Leon and Lucy Langston Cole. She was married to the late Dean Miller Bruner.
Eva Bruner is survived by a son, James A. Bruner of Wilmington; two daughters, Lawanda Radford of Rosewood and Diane Farmer of Roseboro; one brother, John Cole of Coats; one sister, Lois Blackman of Goldsboro; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her daughter, Lawanda Radford, 185 Westbrook Ave., Goldsboro.
