ATHELENE FOREHAND

Athelene Blow Forehand, 94, a resident of Countryside Living, died Saturday.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Forehand will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Pikeville PFWB Church with Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Pikeville Cemetery.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Walston Blow and the widow of Luby Forehand. She was a lifetime member of Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and the ladies auxiliary.

Mrs. Forehand is survived by her daughter, Shirley Pope and husband, Charles, of Goldsboro; sister, Betty Jean Corbett and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Gaylon Pope of Morehead City and Patsy Mozingo of Pikeville; great-grandchildren, Brandon Massey of Wilson and Jonathan Holland and wife, Kelly, of Goldsboro.

Mrs. Forehand was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband by her sisters, Eva Forehand and Irene Lee and a brother, Herman Blow.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Pikeville PFWB Church Building Fund, 336 Nahunta Road, Pikeville, N.C. 27863

The family will receive friends Monday at the church following the service.
