AYDEN -- Bobby Gene Benton, 69, died Sunday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating.
He retired from E.I. Dupont.
Bobby is survived by two sons, Mike Benton and wife, Brenda, of Vanceboro and Bobby Gray Benton of Grifton; sister, Lois Foy and husband, Alden, of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren, Tabitha Benton and Ashley Benton.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Clydie Benton Robbins, and father, Harvey Robbins.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Rouse Funeral Home.
