FUQUAY-VARINA -- Katie Steed Taylor, 84, 221 Broad St., died July 4 at Wake Med Hospital in Cary.
A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Gene Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Columbarium.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet Knight of Washington; two sons, Michael C. Taylor of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and George F. Taylor Jr. of Chapel Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Taylor, and her brother, Jonathan E. Steed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, PO Box 984, Goldsboro, NC, 27530.
