FLOSSIE S. SUTTON

DOBBERSVILLE -- Flossie Strickland Sutton, 100, died Wednesday surrounded by her family at Mount Olive Care and Rehab Center.
The funeral will be Saturday at Brownings United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Lynn and husband, Stanley Hartley; two nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sutton is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Sutton; niece, Ellen Rose Sutton Massengill; all of her brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home of Stanley and Lynn Hartley.
