Theodore P. Williamson Jr. died Monday.
There will be a private gathering Saturday at his home.
Plans are incomplete for family, friends and professional associates to gather for a musical celebration to honor his life at a late date. It will benefit the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center in Greenville.
He was born in Greensboro Aug. 10, 1926 and was the son of the late Theodore P. and Virginia Cole Williamson of Greensboro.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barnes Williamson, and two children.
Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
