Alyce Gay McClenny, 94, a resident of the Pines since 2002, passed away Thursday.
Private graveside services will be held Saturday at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Alyce was born in Rocky Mount, the daughter of the late William Henry Gay and Eula Mitchell Gay. She was married for 68 years to the late John James McClenny.
Alyce is survived by her daughter, Gayle of Durham; her sons, Bill of Burns, Tenn., and Andy of New Bern; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special friend, Dorothy Summerlin of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter-in-law, Diane McClenny.
The family would like to thank the friends of their mother for their support and care during her declining health.
