Died June 2, 2009
SNOW HILL -- Dennis Howard Head, 53, died Tuesday morning at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Turlington and the Rev. Tom Dorman officiating. Committal services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Radford Family Cemetery.
Dennis was a graduate of Greene Central High School and an automotive mechanic. He was a member of Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Cindy G. Head of Snow Hill; parents, Billy and Margaret Head of LaGrange; a son, Justin Allen Head of Snow Hill; sisters, Cindy H. Coley and husband, Johnny, Angie H. Herring and husband, Gary, and Melody H. Raynor all of Snow Hill; and nephews and niece, Blake Herring, Austin Herring, Tyler Herring, T.J. Raynor and Makayla Raynor.
The family will receive friends Thursday immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall, and other times at the home of Billy and Margaret Head, 2062 Oakdale Road, LaGrange.
Arrangements are by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
