SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, N.Y. -- Annie Lee Waters Newkirk, 68, 134-32 217th St., First Floor, formerly of Greene County, died Friday at her home.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church on Indian Springs Road in Dudley, with the Rev. William Waters Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery in Central Heights in Goldsboro.
She is survived by two daughters, April Newkirk of the home and Lynda Waters of Long Island City, N.Y.; two sons, Rydell (Tara) Newkirk of Wilson and Jonathan Newkirk of Brooklyn, N.Y.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters; four brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends and other family members at 109 Heather Glenn Drive, Goldsboro.
