CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Laura N. Watson, 85, of the 700 block of Shillelagh Road, passed away Friday at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Keith A. Olivier officiating. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Great Bridge Chapel on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Kate Rollins Newsome and the widow of Eston E. Watson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Johnson and husband, Kenneth, of Chesapeake, Va. and Nancy Fuller and husband, Roger, of Norfolk, Va.; four grandchildren, Samuel B. Johnson and wife, Jena, Stacey E. Johnson, Emily D. Fuller and Sarah Jane Fuller; a great-grandchild, Trenton M. Johnson; a sister, Trudy Baldwin; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
