DONALD R. CUDDINGTON

Donald Ray Cuddington, 74, of Elanor Avenue, died Thursday.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with burial to follow in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens.

Born in Johnston County on Aug. 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Benjamin Lee and Ora Rose Cuddington. He was a U.S. Army veteran and spent over 30 years in law enforcement with the N.C. Department of Motor Vehicles. He was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Evans Cuddington; sons, Donald R. Cuddington Jr. "Donnie" and wife, Laurie, of Springfield, Va. and Clifton Lee Cuddington of Goldsboro; sisters, Betty Herring of Goldsboro, Ollie Martinez and Rose Carroll, both of Raleigh; and grandchildren, Sarah, Amy, Carrie and Walter Cuddington.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m.
