WARSAW -- James Earl Horne, 78, died Tuesday at Carolina East Hospice Center in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc.
Mr. Horne was the loving father of Ervin Horne of Kenansville, Joyce Horne Arnette of Warsaw, Jackie Horne of Clinton, Tony Horne Sr. and Roy Horne, both of Warsaw. He is survived by brothers Eugene Horne of Burgaw, Leland Horne of Magnolia and Tommy Horne of Washington; sisters Ora Lee Cottle of Beulaville, Geraldine Horton of Newberry, Pa., and Eleanor Pay Fox of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Horne was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lena Jean Edmundson Horne; son, Troy Horne; and grandchild, Courtland Wayne Arnette.
Arrangements are being handled by Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
