PIKEVILLE -- Geraldine Forehand Hicks, 91, 865 Airport Road, died Monday.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. David Hollowell and Rose Hicks officiating. Entombment will follow in Pikeville Cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William Bryant and Ada Smith Forehand and the widow of William Casper Hicks.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by one daughter and two sons.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
