Mr. Harvey Bonyman Johnson, 86, 303 Daniel Drive, died Monday at 12:17 a.m. at Pitt Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
No formal services will be held.
Mr. Johnson was born in Carter County, Tenn., on May 25, 1922, to the late John Johnson and late Vera Jones Johnson. He was a W.W.II veteran, Company "A", 112th infantry. He was retired with 26 years of service with Western Electric in Burlington. He enjoyed RV camping with the Travelin' Tarheels club.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Brown Johnson; his sons, Kimber Johnson of Greensboro, Alan Johnson of Chapel Hill and Wayne Johnson and wife, Diane, of Raleigh; and five grandchildren.
