Died March 30, 2009
CLINTON -- Mrs. Doris Adell Honrine, 78, 465 King Road, died Monday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Crumpler-Honeycutt Fun-eral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Honrine, born in Johnston County, was the daughter of the late Samuel F. Jones and Betty MacIntyre Jones and the widow of Judson Yates Honrine. She was a textile employee and retired from Alamac.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Pearl Jones, and a granddaughter, Shelley Jean Honrine.
She is survived by four children, Howard J. Honrine of Goldsboro, Carl M. Honrine of Clinton, Linda Adamson and Janie Kate Carter, both of Fayetteville; two sisters, Lenora King of Richmond, Va. and Melvine Jones of Ohio; a brother, Carl Jones of Clinton; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Fun-eral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, and other times at the home.
