WARSAW -- Mary Jane Hooper, 54, 708 S. Pine St., Warsaw, died Friday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at KEMBA in Warsaw. Dr. Naverro Brown will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Devotional Gardens, Warsaw.
Ms. Hooper was born in Duplin County on June 8, 1954, to Emma Whitehead and the late Oscar Hooper.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Whitehead Hooper, and three children.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Warsaw, and other times at 708 S. Pine St., Warsaw.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home, Warsaw.
