Lee Russell Sims, 77, 103 Timber Hollow Drive, Dudley, died Monday at his residence.
Funeral services will held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church with the Rev. Horace Godwin Jr. Internment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Dudley.
He is survived by eight children.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
