MOUNT OLIVE -- Mrs. Sarah Tysor Boyd, 92, died Wednesday. She was formerly from Sanford.
She is survived by one son, Robert (Bob) W. Boyd and wife, Tina, of Mount Olive; one daughter, Marie Boyd of Richlands; one sister, Emma Mitchell of Pennyslvania; five grandchildren, Katrina Smith, Robin Webster, Bobby Boyd, Shelley Blizzard and Natalie Morrison; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Mount Olive Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Stephen Wicks officiating. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Buffalo Church Cemetery in Sanford.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Friday from 7 until 9 p.m., and at other times they will be at the home of Bob and Tina Boyd.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to Mount Olive Presbyterian Church or Sanford First Baptist Church.
Arrangements are with Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
