BOWDENS -- David Lee Best, 68, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Duplin County, died Monday at his home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Apostolic Holiness Church with Elder Swindell Best officiating. Burial will follow in Bowdens Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Harrison and Causin Bell Best.
Seven children survive.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Linda Best, 3143 Bowden Road, Bowdens.
