JV FOOTBALL: Rosewood topples North Johnston

Kameron Lamm rushed for 139 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 8, 35 and 52 yards as Rosewood defeated North Johnston 42-28 at Branch Pope Field on Thursday evening.
Quarterback Rocco Raynor tossed TD passes to John Thompson (18 yards) and Logan Merritt (41 yards). He finished 7 of 13 for 101 yards.
Christian Decatur rambled for a 30-yard TD.
John White emerged as the defensive leader with six solo stops and three assists. Hunter Lassiter had five tackles and two assists. Merritt collected four tackles, recovered a fumble and posted a quarterback sack. Trevor Gerow and Ryman Hobbins each recovered a fumble.
Rosewood is now 2-0.
