VOLLEYBALL: Powerhouse D.H. Conley halts CBA's 11-match win streak

HOLLYWOOD CROSSROADS -- Charles B. Aycock fell from the unbeaten ranks with an 11-25, 10-25, 15-25 loss to perennial Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A powerhouse D.H. Conley on Thursday afternoon.
Arlanda Faulkner paced the Golden Falcons with nine kills and 13 digs defensively.
Cassandra Lassiter had 21 digs, while Tanika Powell picked up 20 digs. Hannah Carter distributed 12 assists in an offense that recorded just 18 kills as a team in the three-set affair.
Cyerra Carter logged two blocks.
