The Cougars spotted the Golden Falcons an early lead when they fumbled and CBA quarterback Blake Dilda converted the turnover into a short, 3-yard touchdown run. Darius Rogers answered with a game-tying, 86-yard TD burst before halftime. GHS scored second-half TDs on Jackari Wilson's 45-yard blocked punt return, Jabari Wilson's 31-yard fumble return and Christian Bullock's 85-yard gallop. The defensive leaders were Rogers (eight tackles), Jackari Wilson (eight tackles, one assist), Jabari Wilson (seven tackles, two assists), Jordan Scott (six tackles, one assist) and Micah Mooring (five tackles, two assists).
