Princeton clinched the Carolina 1-A Conference's top seed for the postseason with a 3-0 decision over defending state champ North Duplin on Saturday afternoon.

The teams tied for the regular-season title at 11-1.

Brianna Myers' two-out double pushed the Bulldogs in front, 2-0, after five innings. Beth Braswell, who claimed the mound win earlier in the day against Rosewood, smashed a solo home run one inning later.

Rosewood played host to the tie-breaker game.
