EDITOR'S NOTE: More changes in area schedule.
Area athletics directors continue to move games based on inclement weather that has plagued eastern North Carolina during the past couple of days.
• The C.B. Aycock at Eastern Wayne games -- girls' soccer, softball and varsity baseball -- have been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday in New Hope. The Golden Falcons lead the Warriors by one game in the baseball standings.
CBA's softball team has locked up the regular-season title. The girls' soccer team is 3-0 against teams in the 3-A portion of the league.
• Spring Creek and North Duplin look to complete regular-season play today. The Gators won their second straight Carolina 1-A Conference baseball title, and are in the postseason. The Rebels are playing for an at-large berth. They reached the eastern semifinals a year ago.
The Rebels' softball team is in position to earn a share of the regular-season championship.
Game times are 6:30 p.m. in Calypso.
• Rosewood announced at 1 p.m. today that it will now play archrival Princeton tomorrow -- tentatively at 7 p.m. -- at Rosewood. Varsity baseball and girls' soccer will be played. A decision has not been made on the softball game due to a first-place tie between Princeton and North Duplin. Those two teams may be required to play a game to determined the No. 1 seed from the Carolina 1-A Conference for the playoffs.
• Weather permitting, the Goldsboro girls' soccer team will play host to Eastern Carolina 2-A foe Greene Central today at 4 p.m. The GHS-GC baseball and softball games are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday.
