Ethan Chapin stroked an inside-the-park home run and scored twice in Rosewood's 5-4, season-opening loss to South Lenoir on Monday afternoon.
Boone Moody cranked out a pair of hits and stole two bases. Chance Howard added one hit and stole one base.
Starting pitcher Jonathan Peacock struck out four, walked three and yielded two runs in three innings of work.
