3A FB: Golden Falcons' season ends at Eastern Alamance

MEBANE -- Quarterback Jake Flowers rushed for one touchdown and passed for another score in Charles B. Aycock's season-ending, 55-14 loss to Eastern Alamance in first-round action of the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 3-A (small-school) playoffs.
Flowers notched his rushing TD in the first quarter.
The junior connected with 1,000-yard receiver Chandler Matthews for a 45-yard strike in the fourth quarter.
Individual statistics were not provided.
CBA concluded the year 4-8 overall.
