1AA FB: Defending state champ shuts out Spring Creek

WALLACE -- Defending state 1-AA champion Wallace-Rose Hill rolled past Spring Creek, 56-0, in their first-round game contested during the NCHSAA 1-AA (large-school) playoffs Friday evening.
The top-seeded Bulldogs held the Gators to 42 yards of total offense.
Jesse Casper and Scott Edmondson rushed for 10 and 5 yards, respectively, against once-beaten Wallace-Rose Hill. Edmondson completed four passes for 27 yards, including two to Damarion Dawson that accumulated 15 yards.
Spring Creek ended the year 2-10 overall.
