GREENVILLE -- Jamal Forde delivered the offense with a team-best 14 points and Shahim Muhammad cleaned the glass for eight rebounds in Wayne Country Day's 67-42 triumph over Pope John Paul Catholic II High School.
Victor Miller and DJ Waters added 13 points apiece for the Chargers, who evened their Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference worksheet at 1-1.
Muhammed and PJ Hill each handed out five assists. Forde pulled down six rebounds.
"We never looked back," WCDS head coach David Flowers said. "(We) played a very good up-and-down pace. Ball pressure got to PJP, which allowed for easy transition baskets."
The Chargers (12-7 overall) entertains Wilmington Christian on Tuesday.
