Cougars' season ends with OT playoff defeat

WILSON -- Beddingfield punched in a pair of overtime goals and handed Goldsboro a season-ending, 3-1 loss in the NCHSAA 2-A playoffs on Tuesday evening.
Juanita Cortes-Torres converted a penalty kick for the Cougars.
Becka Pittard recorded 15 saves for Goldsboro, which concluded the year 3-10-0 overall.
